Lamiera 2023 is a good trend for applications to showcase the trade fair that will be held again in odd-nubered years at FieraMilano RHO from 10 to 13 May

The collection of applications to be exhibited is rapidly underway for the next edition of LAMIERA, the international fair dedicated to sheet metal forming and cutting machines and related technologies,It is scheduled to take place in fieramilano Rho from 10 to 13 May 2023.

Organized by the Italian association of manufacturers of machine tools, robots and automation systems, supported by UCIMU-SYSTEM PER PRODURRE, and CEU-CENTRO ESPOSIZIONI UCIMU, LAMIERA – the only trade show specifically focused on the industry – will again take place in odd-numbered years.

Given the economic framework that is still favorable despite some uncertainty factors, LAMIERA is poised to receive positive feedback from industry businesses. In addition to foreign markets, thanks to the Government, they will have a very dynamic and receptive Italian market. The incentives are in effect until after 2023.

After a very positive 2021, the Italian sector confirmed the sector’s growth trend in the first six months of 2022. The growth trend recorded double-digit increases in the international trade data for the stock market in sheet metal forming and cutting machines.

Especially in the January-June 2022 period, world sheet metal forming and cutting exports of machine tools (laser, waterjet, plasma, etc.) reported an increase of 12% compared to the same period. 2021, totaling more than 8 billion euros. Worldwide imports also increased by 16% to more than 6 billion euros. In this context, Italy highlighted extremely satisfactory performances and affirmed that it is the second most important consumer market in the world in 2021 (latest data available).

The secretariat of the organization was invited to this event not only by the “habits”, but by the usual participants representing all the main segments in the repertoire, but also by new initiatives, as well as companies that decided to take part in LAMIERA again after many years.

Additionally, as usual, LAMIERA will propose a full program of in-depth cultural, thematic meetings, organized by the organizers and exhibitors. Meetings will be held in a real arena, LAMIALAMIERA. It will be set up within one of the exhibition halls to facilitate free participation of existing operators.

The trade fair will be held in part in conjunction with Made in Steel. The steel production chain, which will be held in halls next to those used by LAMIERA, thus operators and journalists will visit two separate but complementary events on a business trip.
