Operating in the crane manufacturing sector since 1999, Murat Vinç, with its production facility in the Istanbul İkitelli Organized Industrial Zone, has undertaken significant projects both in Turkey and in international markets. We spoke with company owner Hakkı Uslu about the development of the sector, the company’s activities, and future goals.
Mr. Hakkı Uslu, could you briefly introduce Murat Vinç and your areas of activity?
As Murat Vinç, we have been operating in the crane manufacturing sector since 1999. In our production center located in the Istanbul İkitelli Organized Industrial Zone, we design and manufacture lifting and transportation systems needed by the industry. Since our establishment, we have adopted quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction as our fundamental principles.
Could you provide information about your product range?
Our company produces monorail cranes and overhead traveling crane systems from 0.8 tons to 50 tons. We develop solutions tailored to the needs of the sectors in which our customers operate and carry out project-specific productions. By prioritizing quality standards at every stage of our production
process, we focus on providing long-lasting and safe systems.
What are the key elements of success in the crane industry?
Success in this sector is possible with quality production, correct engineering, and strong after-sales services. A crane system should operate reliably not only on the day it is manufactured, but for many years to come. Therefore, service support and spare parts supply are as important as product quality. We aim to be a long-term solution partner for our customers.
Could you tell us about Murat Vinç’s activities throughout Turkey?
To date, we have completed projects for various sectors in many provinces of Turkey. We serve a wide customer portfolio, from industrial facilities to manufacturing plants. A significant portion of our references are based on customer satisfaction. This can be considered one of the most important indicators of our company’s reliability in the sector.
In which regions are your export activities concentrated?
In addition to our domestic activities, we are also actively working on the export side. We have significant references, especially in Middle Eastern countries and Middle Asia Turkish Republics. In addition, we are involved in various projects in the African continent, bringing our products to international markets. The experience we have gained in different geographies contributes to further improving our production quality and service understanding.
What is your approach to after-sales services?
After-sales services are one of the most important parts of our business. We offer all kinds of spare parts services to our customers. In addition, our service teams work to produce fast and effective solutions both domestically and internationally. Our goal is not only to sell products, but also to ensure the uninterrupted continuation of our customers’ operations. Therefore, we always strive to keep customer satisfaction at the highest level.
How do you assess the future of the sector?
With the increase in industrial investments, the need for lifting and handling systems continues to grow. Solutions focused on safety, efficiency, and technology are particularly prominent. Companies are now demanding systems that are more durable, longer-lasting, and reduce operating costs. In this regard, we believe the sector will continue to grow in the coming years.
What are your goals for the upcoming period?
Our goal is to strengthen our presence in both domestic and international markets by continuously improving our production quality. While continuing to grow with new projects and new export markets, we aim to remain one of the reliable brands in the sector without compromising customer satisfaction.
