After Dubai, the new investment destination will be Northern Cyprus

The recent surge in investment interest in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has brought the region’s economic potential back into the spotlight. Increased investments, particularly in real estate, tourism, energy, and trade, are making the TRNC a noteworthy center for international investors. Media reports highlight that, following Dubai, the TRNC is now the next major investment destination.

In a statement on the subject, Yalçın Artukoğlu, Chairman of the Board of SOA Holding, stated that the TRNC will become one of the most important investment hubs in the coming period.

Artukoğlu’s statement included the following: “Today, the TRNC has strongly entered the radar of investors with its strategic location, developing infrastructure, investment-friendly approach, and high growth potential. Especially the close economic relations with Turkey and the new trade balances in the region are making Northern Cyprus a rising investment center in the Eastern Mediterranean. We believe that in the coming period, we will see much larger investments in many sectors, from tourism to real estate, energy to logistics.”

A Vision for Sustainable Investment with the Air Life Project

Artukoğlu, stating that SOA Holding closely follows developments in the region, emphasized that the TRNC has a structure that offers reliable and sustainable opportunities for investors. “Investors are no longer looking for short-term gains; they are seeking safe, sustainable, and strategic regions. The TRNC offers significant advantages in this regard. We foresee that the interest of investors, especially those based in Turkey, in the region will increase even further in the coming period. As SOA Holding, we will continue to support projects that will contribute to the economic development of the region,” he said.

Artukoğlu also stated that they did not leave their belief in the region’s potential as mere rhetoric, drawing attention to the Air Life project they implemented in Nicosia. He explained that the project, designed to meet international standards with short payback periods and high energy efficiency, is planned to meet the needs of professionals, students, and corporate life. Artukoğlu added that Air Life offers a modern ecosystem that is alive 365 days a year, going beyond the traditional concept of summer residences.

Artukoğlu stated that SOA Holding’s long-standing experience in the energy sector is reflected in the project, and that Air Life, which stands out with its environmentally friendly infrastructure and sustainable living approach, aims to provide investors with long-term economic advantages.

The strengthening of economic relations between Turkey and the Gulf countries in recent years, and new investment initiatives in the region, are also among the important factors increasing the attractiveness of the TRNC.
