Tosyalı presents an exhibition in Iskenderun that brings together art, social memory, and institutional values

Tosyalı Holding has opened a new cultural and artistic space in Iskenderun with the “Traces of Witnessing” exhibition, bringing together art, social memory, and corporate values on the same platform. The exhibition, located at the Iskenderun Holding Headquarters, designed by architect Nevzat Sayın, was inaugurated with the participation of Tosyalı Holding Chairman Fuat Tosyalı and board members.

Tosyalı Holding is transforming its Iskenderun headquarters into a vibrant meeting point for art and culture. Viewing art not merely as a supported area, but as an integral part of its corporate culture, social responsibility, and vision of creating lasting value, Tosyalı has created a new cultural space in Iskenderun with the “Traces of Witnessing” exhibition, uniting art, social memory, and corporate values on a shared narrative platform.

The exhibition, designed by architect Nevzat Sayın and held at the new holding company headquarters in Iskenderun, was opened with the participation of Tosyalı Holding Chairman Fuat Tosyalı and board members. The “Traces of Witnessing” exhibition elevates Tosyalı Holding’s Iskenderun headquarters beyond being just a workspace, positioning it as an inspiring meeting point integrated with art and culture. The exhibition creates space for collective memory through art, while also strongly highlighting Tosyalı’s corporate stance.

Tosyalı Holding Chairman Fuat Tosyalı stated: “In a region trying to heal its wounds after the earthquake, coming together through art within this building is a concrete demonstration of resilience, hope, and solidarity.”

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Fuat Tosyalı, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tosyalı Holding, said, “Art and engineering seem like separate worlds, but I believe both are about ‘setting things up right.’ Measurement, balance, decision-making, and skill… And right in the middle is craftsmanship. We wanted to bring together this craftsmanship culture, which is at the heart of our production, with a language that touches social memory through art. There is a saying I love: ‘He whose intentions are pure, his outcome will also be good.’ We designed and built our new holding headquarters in Iskenderun with this understanding; not just as an ‘address,’ but with the intention of leaving a lasting ‘mark.’ In a region trying to heal its wounds after the earthquake, coming together with art in this building is a concrete demonstration of rising again, hope, and solidarity… Seeing this painting holds a special emotional meaning for me as well. As with all our endeavors, I believe that our intentions and efforts here will achieve their purpose, and I invite all our stakeholders to visit our first exhibition at the Tosyalı Holding headquarters in Iskenderun,” he said.

The exhibition consists of works selected from the personal collection of E. Hakan Eminsoy, a member of the Board of Directors of Tosyalı Holding. The exhibition, which will be open to visitors at the Tosyalı Holding Iskenderun Headquarters for three months, aims to establish a multi-layered dialogue between individual memory and collective memory, craft and art, past and future.
