AK Party Istanbul Provincial Vice Chairman and Head of Foreign Affairs Dr. Fatih Tuna made the following statements in his statement:

“As the Presidency of Foreign Relations, we find such programs where we can listen to the reflections of our foreign policy in the world through the eyes of foreign diplomats very valuable. This second program, where we hosted the Consul General of Sudan in Istanbul, Mr. Osama Dirar, both contributed to diplomatic dialogue and provided the opportunity to evaluate our foreign policy from different perspectives.” Dr. Tuna said, “When it comes to Turkey today, foreign policy stands out as one of the strongest areas. However, we are the ones who mostly talk about this success. This time, we wanted to hear from the perspective of a diplomat, a foreign observer. Mr. Dirar is not a foreigner to us; he is a Muslim brother. Sudan is also an important country with which we have established both strategic and emotional ties.” Tuna stated that the foreign policy model implemented by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is shown as an example in the world and said that evaluating this approach from different perspectives is very valuable in terms of explaining Turkey’s global vision.
