Expanding its global market network day by day with its wide product range, KGD Graphite & Metal participated in ALUEXPO 2023 - 8th International Aluminum Technologies, Machinery and Products Specialized Fair, which is the second largest aluminum fair in Europe and the largest aluminum fair in Eurasia. At its stand at the fair, KGD introduced its visitors to the aluminum billet casting line, which it has started to produce in-house since the beginning of this year, and also presented the mold release oils and industrial furnace refractories of which it is a dealer.
KGD Graphite & Metal, operating in the ferrous and non-ferrous metals industry with more than 25 years of experience, took part in the ALUEXPO 2023 Fair, which brings together the leading companies of the aluminum industry and supports the trade flow of the sector. KGD exhibited its aluminum billet casting line at the fair, which brings together manufacturers and suppliers of aluminum products and aluminum production technologies, raw and auxiliary materials and consumables, and GKR Metalurji A.Ş. in the mold release oils product group. and Güney Ateş Refrakter ve Metalurji San. in the refractory product group. Stating that ALUEXPO, which gives national and international companies the opportunity to promote and market their products, has created a significant potential this year, considering the increasing aluminum trade volume in Turkey, KGD Graphite & Metal General Manager Gamze Karasu said, “It is our duty to meet customers and suppliers directly at the fair.” It was an important opportunity for Our aluminum billet casting line, which we introduced to participating companies, attracted great attention.
In the aluminum billet casting line, where we previously produced only industrial ceramic parts, we enable our customers to meet all their needs with a single supplier by producing the machinery, parts and equipment needed in the process from the exit of the aluminum melting furnace to the aluminum billet, due to the demand that has arisen since last year. In this system, where we apply our knowledge and experience in industrial ceramics with high insulation properties, we ensure that our customers reach higher quality aluminum billet. As a first step, we conduct on-site exploration to understand our customers’ needs. Then, we prepare the project taking into account capacity, environmental conditions and working conditions. “We deliver a turnkey system, including post-approval and manufacturing, assembly and commissioning,” he said.
KGD product range is stronger with the cooperation of GKR and Güney Ateş
Stating that they introduced the dealership agreements they made with GKR and Güney Ateş to the visitors at ALUEXPO 2023, Karasu continued his words as follows: “GKR Metalurji A.Ş., which produces water-based mold release oils used as coolants in the molds of high pressure aluminum casting machines. We launched our official cooperation with here. It was very well received by our visitors. In addition, industrial furnace refractories produced by Güney Ateş and used in the construction of melting furnaces used in the aluminum industry were another solution we exhibited at the fair. Thanks to this cooperation, we aim to reach a level where we can compete with the terms, services and prices of world-renowned brands.”
