Great Interest in WIN EURASIA, the Innovative Exhibition of the Manufacturing Industry

The biggest international industrial exhibition of the region, WIN EURASIA, with the motto “Industries meet diversity”, held from 7-10 June 2023, attracted 38,586 visitors from 102 countries and hosted over 500 exhibitors at Istanbul Expo Center. WIN EURASIA made history as the first exhibition that introduced the ‘Industry 5.0: Factory of the Future’, controlled by 5G and metaverse, to the manufacturing industry in Türkiye.

Organized by Hannover Fairs Turkey, WIN EURASIA, the representative of HANNOVER MESSE in the regional market, was held for the 29th time at Istanbul Expo Center from 7-10 June 2023 with the motto “Industries meet diversity”. With the participation of over 500 exhibiting companies, the exhibition space, which has reached gross 55,000 square meters, hosted 38,586 buyers from 102 countries. The industry met the future at WIN EURASIA, which strengthened its international identity with the participation of Germany, Taiwan, China and Korea pavilions. At the exhibition, all products, technologies and solutions that may be needed for the present and future of the manufacturing industry were presented under one roof.

Buyer Delegations from 20 countries attended

WIN EURASIA Within the scope of the Buyer Delegation Program, organized in cooperation with Machinery Exporters’ Association (MAİB) and Turkish Machinery Federation (MAKFED), professional buyers from 20 countries participated in face-to-face meetings at WIN EURASIA and signed new commercial collaborations worth millions of euros.

The whole scope of present and future of manufacturing industry has been showcased

Where the latest technology of industrial automation was presented to the industry, exhibitors closed profitable deals and sold their industrial manufacturing machines during the exhibition. The leading companies in the welding and robotic welding industry, logistics and supply chain management launched their newest products. In the “STARKGEN Generator Display Area” progressive energy solutions in the critical and backup power sector met with the visitors at the most competitive prices while the leading companies of the energy, electricity and electronics industry welcomed their visitors.

25 different 5G use cases were showcased

The ‘Industry 5.0: Factory of the Future’ demo application, which was introduced to the manufacturing industry for the first time at WIN EURASIA 5G Arena, became the focus of attention of exhibitors and visitors. With the new generation communication technology 5G support and the ‘Industry 5.0: Factory of the Future’ demo application, which can be controlled via metaverse, 25 different scenarios regarding the 5G use cases that factories need the most were showcased. Demo presentation, led by Hannover Fairs Turkey, Nokia and Turkcell Digital Business Services, were carried out in cooperation with Anot, Digitalis, Emikon, Fanuc, Festo, GSL, HTC, IQ Vizyon, Konzek, MCS, Mitsubishi Electric, ONO, PI Robotik, ProManage, Siskon, Simtek, Staubli, Talisa and Yenasoft.

Meta Industry world introduced for the first time

Within the scope of the “Smart Production with Metaverse” scenario, the simulation of industrial control systems and robots in the industrial production line communicated over 5G in an integrated manner with Metaverse. This new concept, called ‘Meta Industry’, was one of the firsts in Türkiye in terms of industrial innovation.

Special theme areas and events attracted great attention

Technologies, events and demo applications exhibited in the Industry 4.0 Pavilion, Digital Factories Special Area, 5G Arena, 5G & Industry Forum Area at WIN EURASIA 2023 were followed closely by visitors and exhibitors and attracted great interest. The 5G & Industry Forum Area also hosted dozens of conferences within 4 days. At the Metaverse Conference, it was estimated that 19.8 billion devices will communicate with IoT in 2023, and 125 billion devices will communicate via IoT and 5G in 2030.

Experts at the Robot Automation and Future Conference drew attention to the fact that 70% of all robots are used in industry worldwide and it was underlined that robotic technologies are radically changing the production processes and business strategies in the manufacturing industry. With the contributions of institutions such as MAKFED, KOSGEB TÜYİDER, ETMD, AKDER, Deutsche Messe & Nokia & Turkcell Digital Business Services, Eurotrans & Agma, Botek & Schneider Electric, panels and keynote events focused mainly on green transformation, renewable energies and energy efficiency were followed with interest.
