We spoke with Seyit Çal, the owner of Salurmaksan Makina—a company providing production solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from energy and mining to cement, shipbuilding, defense, and construction—about the company’s operations, production capabilities, evolving customer expectations, and outlook for late 2026.
At Salurmaksan, we deliver solutions to our customers by combining the manufacturing expertise we have gained over many years in the industry with modern technology. Our operations are built upon a foundation of machining, CNC processing, the machining of large-diameter and heavy components, machinery spare part production, and custom manufacturing.
We do not view ourselves merely as a company that manufactures parts based on technical drawings provided by the customer. We strive to understand our customers' production processes and the conditions under which the parts will operate, allowing us to devise the most appropriate production solution.
I, too, have been deeply involved in production and the industrial sector throughout my professional career. We have transformed the experience gained during this journey into a stronger production infrastructure under the Salurmaksan banner. Today, by combining experience with technology, we aim to offer reliable solutions to our customers, particularly in the machining of large and precision components.

We possess extensive manufacturing capabilities. Our operations include gear cutting, induction hardening, cutting, bending, forming, dishing, and welding, alongside core services such as CNC contract machining, large-scale CNC vertical turning, large-diameter CNC turning, and CNC boring.
We have a robust infrastructure, particularly for the precision machining of large-diameter and heavy components. We manufacture a wide variety of machine parts—such as flanges, rings, hoops, drums, pulleys, wheels, shafts, couplings, rollers, bearing housings, bushings, pump and fan components, and power transmission elements.
In addition to standard production, we manufacture custom machine parts and equipment based on our customers' technical drawings, samples, or project specifications. Our operational structure allows us to meet diverse needs, ranging from single-unit and prototype production to serial manufacturing.
We serve a broad spectrum of industries. Beyond the energy, mining, cement, shipbuilding, defense, construction, and process industries, we manufacture components for sectors such as food, textile, plastic, and rubber machinery, as well as recycling facilities, milling systems, stone crushing and screening plants, and water treatment systems.

I anticipate that industrial efficiency, technology investments, and localization efforts will become increasingly important in the period ahead. We anticipate a cautious yet production-oriented level of market activity towards the end of 2026. We believe that investments in sectors such as machinery, energy, defense, mining, and heavy industry, in particular, could create new opportunities for companies specializing in machining and the production of custom components.
