Mega Metal, a global player in the copper wire industry, showcased its strength at Wire 2026, one of the sector's most important global trade fairs, held in Düsseldorf from April 13-17, by taking significant steps towards its investments in America and Türkiye. Attending the fair with a team of 20, the company conducted over 200 business meetings and shared details about its new production facilities with the international public.
DÜSSELDORF – Mega Metal, one of Türkiye's largest industrial companies and a leader in super-fine copper wire production in Europe, participated in Wire 2026, the heart of the wire and cable world. Represented by an expert team at the event, held from April 13-17, the company took critical steps to both maintain its existing portfolio and establish new global collaborations.
Over 200 Meetings and New Investment Vision
During the fair, the Mega Metal team followed an intensive schedule with existing and potential customers from all over the world, focusing on capacity increases in Türkiye and new factory investments in the United States, which are critical components of the company's global growth strategy.
In particular, with its new production facility acquired in Fairfield County, South Carolina, Mega Metal detailed its goals to localize its presence and increase its market share in the American market. With this growth initiative, the company strengthens its vision of becoming a "permanent player in the global arena," aiming to increase its production capacity by 50% to 92,000 tons annually by the end of 2026.
Global Meeting with Live Music
On Tuesday, April 14th, one of the busiest days of the fair, a special event held at the Mega Metal stand brought together numerous industry representatives from Turkey and abroad. The stand event, featuring live music, combined professional business meetings with a friendly atmosphere, reflecting the brand's "people-oriented" corporate culture and the energy of its "It's Mega" slogan.
