Tezmaksan and UFC Automotive collaborate for strategic digital transformation

Tezmaksan, a pioneer in machining and CNC automation solutions in Turkey, has launched another project to accelerate digitalization in production processes. As part of its strategic partnership with UFC Otomotiv, Tezmaksan has launched its second CubeBOX™ automation line, demonstrating its strength in the industry’s digital transformation. As part of this partnership, UFC Otomotiv is achieving a 35 percent increase in efficiency and up to 50 percent cost reduction in tractor clutch production.

Tezmaksan, Turkey’s leading company in the machine tool sector, has achieved another success story in industrial digital transformation. Bursa-based UFC Otomotiv has integrated Tezmaksan’s CubeBOX™ automation system into its production line for the second time, aiming to increase efficiency and quality in tractor clutch production. Thanks to this strategic partnership, UFC Otomotiv is demonstrating the power of digitalization in the automotive supply chain, achieving both uninterrupted production and significant cost advantages.

“Turkish industry has great digital transformation potential.”

Tezmaksan Group CEO Hakan Aydoğdu stated that the technological solutions they offer to their business partners have been further strengthened by the concrete results achieved in the ongoing project.

Tezmaksan, which launched its second CubeBOX™ automation line as part of its collaboration with UFC Otomotiv, a manufacturer of tractor clutch systems for OEM and OES, has maximized production efficiency and cost advantages. Highlighting Tezmaksan’s leadership in automation, Aydoğdu stated that they had implemented their second CubeBOX™ project with UFC Otomotiv, saying, “UFC Otomotiv exports 35 percent of its production.

Our CubeBOX™ system robotically feeds CNC machines from three different brands at UFC Otomotiv for 22 hours a day. This process, previously handled by three personnel, has been completely automated. Turkish industry has significant digital transformation potential.

Thanks to our technical knowledge, experience, and expertise in automation, we are confidently chosen for the digital transformation process. When automating production lines, we strive to offer sustainable solutions that will strengthen our business partners’ global competitiveness. In this regard, we will continue to support our industrialists both domestically and in the international market with our expertise in CNC and automation technologies.”

“We made our investment without hesitation.”

Can Çetin, a partner at UFC Automotive, which has been operating in the tractor clutch sector for 20 years, stated that the clutch systems they produce involve very sensitive processes in terms of their criticality and functionality.

Çetin stated that to control these sensitive processes and ensure their efficiency, they have embarked on digital transformation, efficiency, and automation processes, essential for our age. He added that the most significant step in this process was the CubeBOX™ automation systems under the Tezmaksan umbrella.

Çetin stated that they chose Tezmaksan because of their trust in its knowledge, experience, and technical skills in machining and CNC machine tools, and that they commissioned the first CubeBOX™ line a year ago. He said, “With this investment, we achieved up to a 35% increase in efficiency in our production line, preventing lost time and achieving up to a 50% reduction in costs. Thanks to the efficiency we gained from our first CubeBOX™ line, we confidently made our second investment without hesitation.

Today, we have not only digitalized our production processes but also achieved significant cost and labor savings. The entire industry is undergoing a digital transformation, and I don’t believe that companies that fail to keep up with this trend will be very effective in the future.

At UFC Automotive, we are pleased to be collaborating with Tezmaksan, our strategic partner in this transformation process. We plan to continue our collaboration on future projects.”
